Day of the Shoot
-
To ensure we make the most of our time together, we kindly ask that the vehicle is cleaned and detailed before the shoot. Having the car ready to go will allow us to focus on capturing the perfect shots without delays. This includes ensuring the exterior, wheels, and windows are spotless, as well as tidying up the interior if it will be featured. By preparing in advance, we can maximize the quality of the final images and videos.
-
The duration of the shoot will vary depending on the specifics of each project. Video shoots can range from 1 to 8 hours, while photo shoots generally take no longer than 3 hours. To ensure we’re aligned on expectations, it’s best to discuss the details of your shoot with us in advance so we can provide a more accurate estimate of the time required.
-
The timeline for delivery will depend on the specifics of your project, so it’s best to discuss this with us prior to the shoot to set clear expectations. If you're working with a deadline, please let us know in advance—we’ll do our best to accommodate your needs. During peak seasons, particularly in the summer months, our backlog can increase, but we prioritize based on client requirements. Please note that there is only one editor for both photo and video, which can also affect turnaround time.
-
We understand that weather can be unpredictable, and we’re always happy to reschedule if needed. However, sometimes less-than-ideal weather conditions can actually create some unique and dramatic content that can elevate your shoot. Ultimately, we’ll assess the situation and decide together—let’s play it by ear!
-
Yes, we do require a deposit at the time of booking to secure your spot on the chosen date. This deposit is non-refundable, but if something comes up, please don’t hesitate to reach out. We’re more than happy to work with you to reschedule—we understand that things happen.
Technicals
-
We primarily use Sony and DJI cameras for our shoots. Our main setups include the Sony Alpha 7 series paired with G-Master and Sigma lenses for exceptional image quality. Additionally, we utilize various DJI gimbals, drones, and action cameras to capture smooth, dynamic footage in all types of scenarios. If there’s a specific piece of equipment we don’t have for your shoot, we can always rent it in advance to ensure we’re fully prepared.
-
For photo editing, we primarily use Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop to enhance and fine-tune every image. For video editing, we work primarily in Final Cut Pro to create smooth, cinematic edits, and we occasionally utilize Adobe After Effects for more complex visual effects and motion graphics.
-
Yes, for certain photoshoots, we use a range of Godox and Flashpoint strobes to control and manipulate the lighting, especially in less-than-ideal conditions. This allows us to create the perfect lighting setup that enhances the vehicle's features and ensures the final images stand out, regardless of the environment.
